SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL. 27, MARCH, 2024.

The Village Church Bells rang out for 4 p.m.

Another Dog stepped out of the side door of the van.

They had parked in Seaton Park Car Park.

It was bright and breezy.

They headed for The Esplanade and the beach beyond.

A couple and their two dogs were up ahead.
They eventually walked from the sea to the car park.

To the North, a young couple threw a ball for an old dog.

BEACH BUOY.

Sunday 24 March 2024

SEATON SNOOKS TEA ROOM OUT AND ABOUT CARD.

 The Two Gulls......

BEACH BUOY.

SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL. 24, MARCH 2024.

Beach Buoy woke at 4-44.

Coffee.

Toast.

They reached the beach car park

at 5-55.

Almost sunrise.

The lady who had once fallen off her bike was walking to the south end wall.

By the time Beach Buoy and Another Dog were heading down the access ramp, she was heading back northwards.

"Morning."

"Morning."

A cold wind blew from the north west.
Two hoods went up.
Hands were buried deep into pockets once again.
The sea was rough, the tide more in than out.

It was quiet to the north.
Just a Crow trying to sell beach passwords for the following week.

They headed south.
No one around.
No one to comment on.
Beach Buoy went into auto-pilot.
Sea.
Sand.
Sky.
Thoughts...

The swirling clouds matched a swirling Sea.

They cut across to the dunes.
Still no one.
The Crow called out his final offer.

Who lives here?
🤔

They headed up the long slope that leads to the "easy" route.

"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added five stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
It was 6-31.

He sat drinking coffee on a sloping driftwood log.

More thoughts...

"See you Mate."
They returned to the beach.

Another Dog watched as a lady threw a ball for her dog to chase.
"Morning."
"Morning."

Mr. Gunn/ Lunn and Team Black Ear approached.
The group's three dogs all trotted to Beach Buoy.
Little Alfie was first.
Beach Buoy gave the excellent little dog a shoulder scratch.
The Cream Labrador was next, it gave Beach Buoy a lick on the hand.
Black ear was next, just a slightest touch.
The owners chatted briefly.

They went their separate ways.

The two men would soon go their own way too.
Mr Gunn/Lunn to the dunes with Alfie for a circular walk.
Team Black Ear, a pause at the grey rocks before returning to the village

Beach Buoy and Another Dog had a slow walk back.
Way up ahead, the first signs of the wreck were being exposed by the receding tide.

The Beachcombing Border Collie Couple headed north.
Deep in discussion and sea air

Beach Buoy and Another Dog returned to the car park.

"Morning."
"Morning."
Team Mick Aston Jumper were just setting off for the beach.
The little black dog seemed to recall a shoulder scratch it trotted to Beach Buoy for a replay.
It's owner laughed.

Beach Buoy sat in the van unoticed as Little People scampered along The Esplanade wall before the beach became too busy.

BEACH BUOY.

Saturday 23 March 2024

SEATON SNOOKS TEA ROOM OUT AND ABOUT CARD.

Helping Hands.

BEACH BUOY.

SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL. 23,MARCH, 2024.

Beach Buoy woke just after 4 a.m.

He been up a few times during the night.

He checked the time of the morning's sunrise.

HARTLEPOOL.

5-59

It begins with a five!

Beach Buoy said it out loud.

He made coffee and toast.

He prewarmed beach thermal mugs.

They reached an empty car park

 at 5-51 a.m.

For once he didn't faff on.

A couple of minutes later, they were on The Esplanade.

A Crow stood on The Seaton Carew Wreck Information board like an access ramp doorman.

Beach Buoy guessed at today's password to allow beach access

"Apple Sauce."

Yes, he said it out loud.

The Crow seemed to be impressed?

It did the trick.

Access granted.

Maybe Beach Buoy hadn't had enough sleep?

Then again, he rarely does.

The air was chilly.
Two hoods were already deployed.
A fresh strong breeze blew from the west.

Beach Buoy loves sunrises.
5-59.
As advertised.
The Sun looked over the horizon.

By 6-02, it was just leaving the horizon behind.

A man dressed in shorts had joined the beach.
He and his Waggy Spaniel headed south.
They only went about two thirds along the beach before cutting up to the dunes to return north.

The beach belonged to them once more.
A ship left the River.
The sun rose above The Wind Turbines.

Beach Buoy paused.
It was as bright as a Summer's day and as fresh as Autumn.

6-32 a.m.
"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added five stones.
 He patted
THE
 stone.

Beach Buoy sat on the sloping driftwood log drinking coffee as Another Dog looked on.

Beach Buoy checked the beach below.
Still theirs.

He sat back down to finish the remaining coffee.

"See you mate."
They returned to the beach via the "easy" route.
Once on the beach, they continued southwards.

The tide was heading out.
Another Dog seemed happy to be on the beach ?
She ran around in lead-long zoomies.

The receding sea left rock pools behind.

One looked like it had drained from the Sun, bringing a nugget along for the ride.

Sand Martin Corner caught the Sun like a reliable glove.
Surely, the Sand Martins are only a couple of weeks away?

Two ladies crossed the grey rocks to reach the beach.
They held hands to help maintain their balance.

They headed towards the Village with their little dog running alongside.

A jogger jogged south, the north.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed walked the water's edge back to the van.

The Sea Serpent Marker.
It's light is toppled at 90 degrees following a storm.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog began a slow walk back with the water's edge for company.
Team Muzzled Dog passed by, up on the strand-line.
Beach Buoy gave a distant wave from the distant waves.

The tide was heading out.
With half-closed eyes it looked like the wreck could be too.

It was odd seeing the waves breaking against the ship's hull.

Just some wreck photographs.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed back to the van.

A second thermal mug and a. Ars bar were waiting.

Beach Buoy drank coffee.
 Another Dog slept.
The little people rode horses along the esplanade wall.

Not Beach Buoy and his Dog made their way north along The Esplanade.
